NICK VARNER  on  TOP – New World Champion  9- Ball 

Men’s  Division

With an impression victory, NICK VARNER became the World Title off Pool billiard 1999, against his opponent JEREMY JONES also from the USA.

Until the score of 6:6, the Match was very equalised, than VARNER came into his higher speed and run out till 12:8.

The 21st Game was started as a poker and safety Game, than VARNER was holding a long proof and control for his next shot…. He was potting the 1, and reached a perfect position for the 2 on the 9, nobody in the Hall was expecting a shot as this one.

The last 9 off the Tournament disappeared with high speed in the Pocket, and bring the Title after one Year in Asia, back to Northern America.

Mit einem eindrucksvollen Sieg holte sich NICK VARNER den Weltmeistertitel gegen seinen Landsmann JEREMY JONES .

Nachdem das Match bis zu 6:6 ausgeglichen verlaufen war, konnte sich VARNER mit guten Spiel absetzen und auf 12:8 davonziehen.

Im 21en Spiel sah man zunächst exzellente Safes auf beiden Seiten, dann einen lange prüfenden NICK VARNER …. Er entschloss sich, machte die Eins und legte eine Kombination Zwei-Neun nach, mit der niemand im Saal gerechnet hatte.

Die letzte Neun des Turniers verschwand mit Hochgeschwindigkeit im Loch und Titel ging nach einem Jahr Aufenthalt in Asien wieder nach Nordamerika.
