4th ALPE ADRIA IN TRIESTE!!!
Ralf Souquet won the fourth edition of the Alpe Adria
Billiard Circuit in the Hotel Excelsior in Trieste. In the final
Souquet beat Gabriele Cimmino from Italy with the score 11-3.
Third place for Matjaz Erculj (6-11 with Souquet) and Angelo
Millauro (4-11 with Cimmino).
The loosers in the quarter finals were Fabio Petroni (7-11 with
Souquet), Sandor Tot (6-11 with Erculj), Luciano
Artistico (9-11 from Cimmino) and Giorgio Margola (7-11
from Millauro).
The Dutch Champion Alex Lely lost in the 32-finals with
the Youth European Champion Vilmos Foldes from Hungary. The
other Netherland star Niels Feijen didn't find the right way to
beat Souquet in the 32-finals even he was leading 7-2,
9-6 and 10-8!
The Youth World Champion Dimitri Jungo lost in the 32-finals with the
Slovenian player Joze Marinko (11-10).
