World Games 2005 From 14 to 24 July 2005

Die World Games sind eine internationale Multi-Sport-Veranstaltung, die der Internationale Verband für
Weltspiele (IWGA) unter der Schirmherrschaft des Internationalen Olympischen Komitees (IOC) alle vier Jahre ausrichtet. Wettbewerbe in 32 offiziellen Sportarten und in 6 Sportarten in dem Einladungsprogramm - mehr als je zuvor - werden in 17 verschiedenen Sportstätten ausgetragen.
Die World Games 2005 finden vom 14.7. - 24.7.2005 in Duisburg und seinen Partnerstädten Mühlheim, Oberhausen und Bottrop statt und es werden über 3.500 Sportler aus 90 Nationen erwartet.

Billiard (Pool, Karambol, Snooker) ist eine der offiziellen Sportarten. Diese Wettkämpfe finden vom 20. - 24.7.2005 in Bottrop statt. Im Bereich Pool ( 9 Ball ) gibt es ein 16er Herrenfeld und ein 16er Damenfeld, die sich wie folgt zusammensetzen: EPBF 5 Plätze, APBU 4 Plätze, BCA 3 Plätze, CPA 1 Platz, OPBA 1 Platz, 
AAPA 1 Platz, Deutschland (gast Nation) 1 Platz.

Bei den Herren werden die 5 Plätze wie folgt vergeben:
Europameister 9 Ball 2004
Vize-Europameister 9 Ball 2004
Platz 1 und 2 der Euro-Tour Rangliste nach dem Turnier in Sindelfingen, Deutschland
Gewinner des "World Games Qualifikationsturnier"

Bei den Damen werden die 5 Plätze wie folgt vergeben:
Europameisterin 9 Ball 2004
Europameisterin 8 Ball 2004
Platz 1, 2 und 3 des "World Games Qualifikationsturnier"

WICHTIG: Aus einem Land dürfen nur 2 Herren und 2 Damen an den World Games teilnehmen

The World Games are an international multi sport event, organized every four years by the International World Games Association (IWGA) and the patronage of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Competitions in 32 official sports and in 6 sports on the invitational program - alltogether more sports than ever before - are to be held in 17 different venues.

Billiard (Pool, Carom, Snooker) is one of the official sports. These competitions are from 20. - 24.7.2005 in Bottrop .
Pool ( 9 ball) has a grid with 16 men and with 16 women with the following spots in each grid:
EPBF 5 spots, APBU 4 spots, BCA 3 spots, CPA 1 spot, OPBA 1 spot, AAPA 1 spot, Germany (as hosting nation) 1 spot.

In the men division, the five spots will be awarded as follow:
European Champion 9 Ball 2004
Vice-European Champion 9 Ball 2004
Ranking 1 and 2 of the Euro Tour Ranking after the tournament in Sindelfingen, Germany
Winner of the "World Games Qualifying"

In the women division the five spots will be awarded as follow:
European Champion 9 Ball 2004
European Champion 8 Ball 2004
Ranking 1, 2 and 3 des "World Games Qualifying"

IMPORTANT: Not more than two men ( two women) from the same nation can take part at the World Games
