1. Participation eligibility
The maximum number of participating teams in the European Club Team
Cup 2004 is 16.
Only teams that have participated in the last ended Team Championship are
allowed.
The host organizer and the defending champion have a priority right to
take part.
Then, the national champions will be considered.
If then free spots available, the as no. 2 announced teams will be
considered ( the date of
the announcement is decisive)
Per team a maximum of 8 athletes may be announced. 50% of the announced
athletes are not
required to be in possession of the citizenship that the member nation
announcing the team represents.
Athletes that are nominated for two teams in one and the same championship
are not allowed to participate.2. System
Double Elimination, the last four teams - Single Elimination
3. Match format
Match 1: 8-Ball - 2 winning sets race to 4
Match 2: 9-Ball - 2 winning sets race to 5
Match 3: 8-Ball - 2 winning sets race to 4
Match 4: 9-Ball - 2 winning sets race to 5
Each team match consists of 4 individual matches that are to be played
by 4 different athletes for each team.
It is possible for a team to participate with only three athletes and in
such case the fourth match will be
forfeited. In case of a tie (2:2) then the sets average will decide. In
case of a tie again, the individuel games
average will decide. In case of another tie, "Penalty shooting"
will decide.
The tournament will be played alternate break.
4. Dress Code
All athletes must be dressed in accordance with the club uniform.
5. Team announcement
Only athletes which are registered in the EPBF Team Sheet and which
can identify themselves with an
ID-card/Passport, have the right to play.
6. Prize money & trophies
Total prize money; € 6.000,- and trophies for ranking 1 - 3
Prize money: 1st place - € 2.000,-
2nd place - € 1.300,-
3rd place - € 850,-
5th place - € 500,-
The winning team will be titled SIMONIS - EURO-CUP WINNER 2004
7. Entry fee
€ 150,- per team, is to pay in cash at the accreditation
8. Draw
Three weeks before the tournament the draw will be made by the EPBF.
The draw will be also published
on the EPBF website and after this draw the teams can make their hotel
booking.
Each team need to be at the venue 90 minutes before the start of its first
game to make its accreditation. |
